Citi denies inability to sell Russian business on tech troubles

MOSCOW, Mar 27 (PRIME) -- Citi has denied a news daily Izvestiya report that it was unable to sell its Russian business because it could not transfer its IT system to the buyers, a representative for local unit of Citibank told PRIME on Monday.

"The information is not correct, and we will abstain from further comment,” the representative said.

“We remind you that Citi acts in accordance with its 2022 statements made on its Russian business."
